A Kimmirut man is accused of firing in the direction of police, hitting an vehicle on July 15.
The Mounties received a complaint that night at approximately 10:30 p.m. that a person was shooting a firearm from their residence. The subsequently issued a SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒� alert.
While members took cover, the suspect fled on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). A second SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒� alert was then issued, advising residence that the suspect was on the loose in the community on an ATV. He was later apprehended with the assistance of a local resident and taken into custody. The SA国际影视传媒渟helter in placeSA国际影视传媒� order was lifted. No injuries were reported.
The suspect, a 22-year-old man from Kimmirut, is currently in custody awaiting a remand hearing. He was not publicly identified in the 's July 16 news release.
