Rankin Inlet's Liam Tattuinee is graduating from the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy in Manitoba and is now looking to catch on with a team in the NAHL.

Liam Tattuinee, 18, of Rankin Inlet, is looking to find a spot with the the Minnesota Mallards of the North American Hockey League.

The Mallards are a Tier II junior ice hockey team located in Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is one of the top junior hockey leagues in the United States and has been operating for 50 seasons.

It is the only Tier II Junior League sanctioned by USA Hockey and acts as an alternative for those who would not or did not make the roster of a team in the Major Junior Canadian Hockey League nor Tier I United States Hockey League. The NAHL is one of the oldest junior hockey leagues in the United States and is headquartered in Addison, Texas.

Known as a strong intellectual hockey player, Tattuinee sees the ice well and uses his speed to pressure the other squad. It will be interesting to see how things progress with Rankin Inlet's homegrown star forward and the Mallards coach and management.
