Yellowknife say they've arrested two people in relation to a break and enter at Fort Gary Apartments on July 28.

Police were called to the building at 1:30 p.m. that day following a complaint of a break-in at a vacant apartment.

Upon arrival, police determined that one of the suspects had a knife and backup officers were called in for safety reasons.

"Two individuals were located inside the unit and arrested without incident," said  media relations officer Cpl. Josh Seaward. "Both were released to appear in court at a later date."

Seaward said the two accused would not be named publicly as the "circumstances would not meet G DivisionSA国际影视传媒檚 existing policy on the naming of charged individuals."
