City, chamber of commerce partner to boost local business

Economic activity, business environment and safety among topics to be addressed

The City of Yellowknife is inviting local businesses to participate in a brainstorming session on enhancing safety, economic activity and the overall business environment.

The municipality's workshop is scheduled for June 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at city hall.

The gathering will unite business owners and community stakeholders to share ideas and find ways to foster a stronger economy, according to the city. 

Yellowknife's downtown will be a central focus, but the session will also reflect challenges businesses throughout the city are facing, the municipality states.
