A 15-year-old has died after falling through the ice near Pangnirtung late last month.
According to Nunavut , three young men went through near the flow edge nearly 12 km outside of the community. Pangnirtung Ground Search and Rescue were notified and led recovery efforts with help from .
Two of the three were able to make it out, but the third was located dead in the water a few hours later. Police are working with the Nunavut Coroner's Office as the investigation continues.
Police thanked everyone involved in the operation and there was no other information made available in the release.
