Modular homes shipped
Rankin Inlet/Baker Lake
Twenty modular homes worth $8 million were shipped to Rankin Inlet and Baker Lake by Agnico Eagle this past month at a cost of $1.75 million.
The cost of the homes was picked up by the Government of Nunavut. The homes were delivered to communities via sealift.
Agnico Eagle director of Nunavut affairs Pujjuut Kusugak said the shipment was the first of its kind by Agnico Eagle.
He said everybody has a responsibility to contribute to the betterment of people in Nunavut.
"Agnico is wanting to be a responsible corporate citizen as well as a great neighbour,SA国际影视传媒 said Kusugak.

The job is open to residents of Arviat only.
