It's a case of better late than never when it comes to this.
Hay River celebrated the opening of a 25-year old time capsule at Harry Camsell School on July 1. Former students and staff were on hand to open the capsule, which was buried in the year 2000. The capsule had initially been planned to be retrieved in 2020 but got an extra five years underground because of Covid-19 complications.
