U.S. attack helicopters make pit stops in Yukon, B.C.

Four AH-64 attack helicopters and two other choppers touched down at the Whitehorse airport on Aug. 13

Six United States Army helicopters made a pit stop at WhitehorseSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™s airport on Aug. 13. 

On the afternoon of Aug. 13, four AH-64 Apache attack helicopters and two UH-60 Black Hawks descended into Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport.

Flightradar24.com tracking for the Black Hawks shows stops earlier in the week for the helicopters in Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Prince George, Vernon and Kelowna, British Columbia dating back to Aug. 10. 

The U.S. Army did not respond to the NewsSA¹ú¼ÊÓ°ÊÓ´«Ã½™ questions by publication.
