The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) is advising that the Yellowknife Public Health Unit will be operating at reduced services from Oct. 21-Nov. 5 to facilitate seasonal flu vaccine clinics alongside Covid-19 vaccine clinics at Centre Square Mall.

A recent amendment to territorial liquor regulations will allow NWT liquor stores to sell and provide home delivery of liquor to customers, including those who are in isolation due to Covid-19.

Residents in several NWT communities will be able to bring an expanded list of electronics and electrical products to their recycling depots over the next two years.

Trustees with the Yellowknife Catholic School board have unanimously endorsed the creation of a vaccine mandate for teachers and staff.

Yellowknife schools will return to in-person learning on Oct. 25.
