With all the political news going on, I worry that some other important news items have been overlooked or buried in the hoopla.
After two long years of work, The Sky Canada Project has released its report written by The Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada, who works for the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. Wow, thatSA国际影视传媒檚 quite a moniker. The federal Government certainly likes long, convoluted names.
The bombshell this report drops is truly stunning. Hold on to your hats. UFOs have been renamed UAPs. They are no longer unidentified flying objects but have become unidentified aerial phenomena. So those lights people see in the sky may not be caused by reflecting off some sort of object but could be caused by some sort of unidentified phenomena. ISA国际影视传媒檓 not sure that this news is going to help people sleep better at night.
Here is something to think about, UFO has a certain ring to it and is easy to say. UFO SA国际影视传媒 you fly off. Get out of our airspace.
UAP is a little harder to say and what does it really stand for? You A P. Are we calling them a P, a peahead or a peabrain? It sounds like you may be calling them names and that is probably not a good idea until you get to know them a little better.
So, what is it people are seeing? Lights in the sky, that may be caused by objects or maybe not. Maybe they are laser lights from outer space or balls of fluorescent gas. Maybe they have always been there, but we didnSA国际影视传媒檛 see them much until we started putting thousands of aircraft into the sky. No one seems to know, which is why they remain unidentified. The report went on to say the government hasnSA国际影视传媒檛 really been keeping track of these UAPs so there really isnSA国际影视传媒檛 enough data to make any statements on what they may or may not be.
I have seen a few odd things in the sky, but I have never seen anything I would consider a UFO or a UAP. But I believe that some people have. When trained pilots, military personnel and others say they saw something weird, you have to say maybe they did and maybe we should figure out what they are seeing.
If I see something, I want to identify it: SA国际影视传媒淵up, thatSA国际影视传媒檚 definitely an alien space craft of some sort?SA国际影视传媒
I would also want to have a little chat with its occupants. If they are intelligent enough to get here, I would assume they are smart enough to have a translator up and running and, who knows, they might be an intelligent life form SA国际影视传媒 alien intelligence, as opposed to artificial intelligence.
Imagine a spacecraft landed, some aliens got out and commanded you, SA国际影视传媒淭ake us to your leader.SA国际影视传媒 Who would you suggest they go see? The mayor, the premier or the prime minister? Who really speaks on behalf of Canada or, better yet, the planet? Can you imagine trying to explain to the aliens our political system? It would take hours or even days. Then try explaining how other countries work. And is there any individual or single group that speaks for the entire plant? I donSA国际影视传媒檛 think so.
Here is an explanation of why so many visit here. Maybe as George Bernard Shaw and others have commented, the Earth is the dumping grounds for the insane of the universe. However, to be fair, we produce a lot of deranged and misguided people born here and a surprising number become politicians. It's not the aliens from outer space I worry about, itSA国际影视传媒檚 the home-grown variety that scare me.
Look, itSA国际影视传媒檚 a UFO! No, itSA国际影视传媒檚 a UAP! Whatever it is, itSA国际影视传媒檚 a U can C. What about the U canSA国际影视传媒檛 C? Surely, they have a few of those. Yup, they are called telescopes. End of story.
