Premier R.J. Simpson marked the 20th anniversary of the Tlicho Government, the first in the NWT to combine a comprehensive land claim with a self-government agreement.
Simpson called the agreement a SA国际影视传媒渓andmark achievementSA国际影视传媒� and praised the Tlicho GovernmentSA国际影视传媒檚 leadership in governance, land stewardship and cultural revitalization.
SA国际影视传媒淭he progress made over the past two decades shows what is possible when Indigenous governments and public governments work in true partnership, each bringing their strengths to serve the people of the North,SA国际影视传媒� stated the premier.
Simpson thanked the leaders, Elders and community members who helped make the agreement and said the milestone is a source of pride for both the Tlicho and the territory as a whole.
